The department assists students, both financial and practically, to prepare and distribute job market materials to potential employers. We have an excellent record of placing students with leading research universities, liberal arts colleges, government agencies and the private sector. Each year we graduate about fifteen new Ph.D.s.
Listed below is the initial placement for all 77 of our graduates receiving a Ph.D. between 2004 and 2008. The unemployment rate was 0%. For academic positions, appointment is in an Economics Department except where indicated.
