The department assists students, both financial and practically, to prepare and distribute job market materials to potential employers. We have an excellent record of placing students with leading research universities, liberal arts colleges, government agencies and the private sector. Each year we graduate about fifteen new Ph.D.s.
Listed below is the initial placement for all 69 of our graduates receiving a Ph.D. between 2003 and 2007. The unemployment rate was 0%. For academic positions, appointment is in an Economics Department except where indicated.
