Research Interests: Macroeconomics - Applied time-series econometrics

Giorgio Primiceri's research focuses on understanding the causes and propagation mechanisms of macroeconomic fluctuations, and the effect of monetary policy on business cycles. He was the recipient of a Sloan Foundation Research Fellowship. He is a research associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research, and a research affiliate of the Center for Economic Policy and Research. He is also an associate editor of the Journal of the European Economic Association, the Review of Economic Dynamics, the Journal of Monetary Economics, and the Journal of Applied Econometrics.
